Great piece from Stephen Baskerville here. Once again, Tucker Carlson edges toward the truth, only to let it fizzle when things get too uncomfortable to contemplate. I'm a huge fan of TC's courageous outspokenness, but even he bows to women's sensibilities in the area of sexual politics.
I hold a very low lever political position. Recently a topic arose where I took a stand on behalf of the father-child relationship. Predictably, the arrows started flying towards me, all coming from various women. Sadly, every man in the room more or less crawled under the table and sucked on their thumb while I took all the arrows alone. Not one "man" would dare take a stand on behalf of the father-child relationship. Not one "man" would dare face the angered women.
Nobody in any official (govt. media, corporations, NGOs etc.) will touch the issue that is destroying our nation at lightspeed: total feminism, the degradation and disenfranchisement of boys and men, mass fatherlessness, so forth. To do so is to expose oneself to the Monstrous Horde of women and the simp-boys that coat-tail the fembots. Like Cucker Tarlson, way too much to lose.
On men's part, it is a failure of courage. Plain old sacklessness. On women's part, it's just total failure of being human.
>> . Not one "man" would dare face the angered women.
The people in that room see misandry all the time. They know how it will endanger their sons in the workplace, marriage and just everyday life. Yet the women want “more” and the men are silent, out of fear (which I understand).
Good on you for taking a stand - and for telling us about it!
Another very apposite article, sir. I would point out a phenomenon which exacerbates the matter. Some will observe that this cultural degradation applies also to those who do have fathers at home, thus apparently discrediting the hypothesis that father absence is the root cause. What they fail to take into account is that the effects of widespread fatherlessness affects the whole culture, including those who have retained their father. The effect on young people, of both sexes, of knowing that half their friends have no father is profound even if they are not one of them. Even more profound is the pernicious effect on the wider culture, to which this article draws attention. Fatherlessness is not an isolated phenomenon but has arisen as one of the effects of the vilification of men in general, thus nullifying the right of fathers to oppose the moral usurpation of the approved narrative. And this is the true cause of the problem, and also of Carlson's reluctance to name it.
The effeminization of men began, in my not-so-humble opinion, began with my grandfathers' era. Mechanization of farming and improvement in highways led to men pursuing the temptations of the city over the rural, (and "boring") hard physical labor on the farm and ancillary pursuits. Suits, white shirts and neckties replaced bib overalls and dungarees. Work for millions was in offices instead of fields and woods. My great grand parents had 8 to 10 children. My grand parents dropped to 2 or 3. Nowadays fathers dare not spank their children lest they be jailed by bitch wives. Parents of either sex have not a clue how to discipline. The are actually afraid of their own 2-3 year olds.
I'd offer, joining with the Amish or to live like them off the land-- naturally, and in close knit Christian communities. Nuclear families are the foundation, but foundations need walls and roofs, furnished only by extensions like cousins, aunts and uncles, grandparents. Christianity based on property and community is the only way some of us can survive to build another rising culture. People will survive in mountain hollows and alleyways off the beaten path. But mostly by living off the land.
Tucker Carlson is part of a huge army of commentators who tell us everything that is wrong with our society. It’s a huge online industry.
They’re like car mechanics who tell you everything that is wrong with your car. You are left not understanding much of the technical details & feeling completely disempowered. But you are nevertheless impressed by their knowledge & expertise. Then they end their lecture on the ills of your car by saying they can’t fix it.
Cucker Tarlson has a lot of nerve asking a stoopid question like that. I do not appreciate it.
Cucker and his daughters live a life of luxury and ease that only a tiny percentage of Americans could hope to afford. I have heard Cucker rambling on before about this 'failure' of men and dads; a couple years back, he was incensed at some outrage the Left typically pulls. What was his response to the outrage? MORE vitriol, directed at 'men'. Where are all the men, he demanded? Why aren't 'men' stepping up to do this and to do that?! It is to laugh.
Cucker, the Right, and of course the woke-fem Left have had their shiny spats on the throats of DADS and MEN for fifty years, and all I ever hear from any of them is demands, criticism, and standard shaming. Never a word in defense, never a word indicating what really is going on in our feminist nation. Neocons gonna neocon, I guess.
Cucker's type of sad emasculation doubtless results from a life of plenty, and clearly, he is overmatched by the influence of his wife and daughters. He makes no attempt to investigate why 'dads' and 'men' are not jumping up to solve his -- and the nation's -- problems. The streets teem with men, and they are essentially excluded from higher education. The corporations openly loathe males, and make it clear we need not apply for jobs with them.
You are getting on my nerves, boyo. If you can't speak the obvious informed truth, then shut your yappy trap and go buy more goodies for you, the Ms., and your fat empowered daughters.
Thanks for the advocacy work you do! Its important. Beautiful sculptures are created by removing one small piece at a time!
Just the other day I heard Carlson saying that girls were smarter than boys. I think the worse misandrists are not radical feminist; but men who have daughters.
If Tucker pisses too many more people off, they will cancel him with a bullet. He likely knows that. I’m hoping he gets Russian citizenship and flees to the safety of a country that loves him, before that happens.
Tucker Carlson has the most common blind spot for American men. It’s the same blue pill mindset I had for [too] many of my own years. Life punished it out of me. I think that’s the only way that most of us wise up. It apparently hasn’t [yet] done the same for Tucker.
He has more important things right than do most people in his position, and in those areas he’s a national treasure. I make time to consider what he has to say. I can also switch the channel when warranted.
Stephen, I hope that you and Tucker find a chance to reconnect for an interview in the near future. He’s better at what he does now. He has far more independence and a much larger audience than he did “years ago.” Possibly some of those things are also true of you. It would be worth sending him a copy of your latest book and a note indicating your openness to interview. That would be a great service to the large numbers of men who are currently standing on the same old trapdoor.
Dr. Baskerville, you remind me of my own father who had an "America First" bumper sticker on his French Peugeot! And you, hiding out in Poland! I'm jealous. I'd love to join you, or find another even 'safer' country in which to hide out from the soon coming Armaggedon! Seriously, men who insist on getting married in this poisonous culture should join seriously faithful Christian church communities to find brides who've been raised right!
So, where should kids get their sex education? Sex education in schools was a hot button even when I was in high school from 1959 to 1963. Not from my parentS, who were in something close to that 1950s family. From other kids on the street? Certainly not from a clergyman, who we now know were dangerous.
After high school I learned that the solution is less government, especially when that government was trying to draft me during the Vietnam war.
But, today, I think I would prefer for my children to get some basic heterosexual education from a teacher in a classroom full of kids. The kids can then discuss what was taught with their parents who can clear up any misunderstandings or cultural differences. I would not approve any teacher, one on one, teaching or encouraging any kid about sexual orientations.
So, TC invites you onto his show to talk about this but he gets fired before the taping. And your response is basically to call him a hypocritical sissy for not talking about it.

I fear this explains a lot. There is no substitute for courage. In men today, moral courage is far more deficient than physical.

Thank you, Stephen. You ain't so shabby yourself. I understand fear, too. But I don't let it stop me.
I have been doing this a long time, and I will continue to persist just as long as it takes.

Very true. Even fathers in intact families are weakened, bit by bit... And it is worse when entire communities, like inner cities, have no fathers.
The effeminization of men began, in my not-so-humble opinion, began with my grandfathers' era. Mechanization of farming and improvement in highways led to men pursuing the temptations of the city over the rural, (and "boring") hard physical labor on the farm and ancillary pursuits. Come on Tucky, take a moxie shot to save Westerndom!!

You are correct. Dotter-daddies convert to feminism the moment that princess is born.
Great piece again from Stephen. May those feminist judges rot in hell.

Most churches are as feminist as the surrounding culture, which they ingest and mimic. There is little relief or truth to be found there.
