Almost 80 Million Americans know something is wrong. They knew that our country was lurching towards Gomorrah--the Left. That's when they decided to stop it. For how long, I don't know. We'll see in the interim elections. But Americans are now awake and aware. They are trying to stop the the Left in as many ways possible. The only problem seems to be the family courts. They need to be stopped at all costs. No-fault divorce, like no-fault auto insurance, is the problem, because it has transmogrified back into fault divorce with domestic violence laws and sexual abuse laws (allegations that are mostly false when it comes to family courts; yet somehow the powers that be are trying to change the standard of proof in domestic violence matters [which are criminal, contrary to the perception they are civil matters] and sexual assault matters on to the defendants--from beyond reasonable doubt to preponderance of the evidence; or even "he said, she said".). These newly designed laws have been used to upend the entire legal system to turn against men in totality. They are not even laws. They have turned mala in se crimes--those that are morally prohibited like murder, assault, rape, child sex abuse--into mala prohibita crimes--those prohibited by law or policy. Such mala prohibita laws are traffic violations, petty disorderly and disorderly conduct (which domestic violence is considered even though there are over a dozen underlying crimes from murder, assault, rape, harassment, to criminal coercion to computer harassment involved). Government has turned all crime into mala prohibita crimes in order to lower or ease the highest standard of proof in criminal cases to the lowest standard of proof. Government has flipped the script on crimes. You are now guilty until proven innocent instead of the other way around as has been the standard for centuries. This is not error. It is by design.
I agree Bruce except about no-fault divorce. The problem is crooked judges - BARbarians who violate US Code 18 Section 242 - Deprivation of Rights Under Color of Law https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/242 But the problem is, who's going to prosecute them since they're all part of that union / cabal called the BAR?
Lawyers were starving in the early 1970s. Many of them saw how profitable no-fault auto insurance lawsuits were. Everybody got sued and the lawyers on both sides made money. Around 1970-1972, California started no-fault divorces. Lawyers made a killing in that state. It spread like wildfire across the nation. Lawyers went from almost impoverished to millionaires in a few short years. Then came child support enforcement laws under Title IV-D of the Social Security Act. Lawyers made even more money and they started to see the "gravy train" bureaucracy. There are now 5 income streams emanating from the Title IV-D child support enforcement stream, with every profession involved. Then Domestic violence laws were introduced into states. More income for lawyers because they were passing laws for themselves to create conflict between parties in quasi-civil matters.
Think about this: Who profits off of divorce? (1) Lawyers; (2) Mental health quacks for child custody cases; (3) Child Support enforcement (Title IV-D) caseworkers and supervisors, and in some states probation departments handle child support enforcement; (4) domestic violence caseworkers and supervisors; (5) Mental health workers finding a niche industry in domestic violence; (6) accountants/CPAs; (7) financial forensic experts; (8) insurance companies for court-ordered life insurances, homeowners' insurances, health insurances, etc.; (9) auto dealers; (10) real estate sales; (11) etc.
The more I study Bible Prophecy, the more I believe it. It seems that the dragon/Satan has firm control of Washington DC. And there may be nothing we can do about it.

New music - Earth’s Final Warning, from Revelation Ch. 14.
I think the Beast (the anti-Christ) is the rise of progressive Leftism, the ultimate expression of which is Communism. It is more of a spirit than a person. Jihad/Islamism is another obvious candidate. Both are threatening the West and have already destroyed freedom in countries where they reign. Traditional Judeo-Christianity is the solution, which is why it's regarded as a threat by Communists and Islamists.
The Bible does seem to foretell many things that have happened and are still happening. This is perhaps due to the fact that "there is nothing new under the sun" (Ecc. 1:9) and history repeats itself. Or perhaps because it really is a prophecy? I don't discount the latter.
I like the last line 'Islam is not just a religion. It is a political movement with the goal of world domination." True, though the idea that religion and politics are separate is a modern idea. Here is my commentary on that. Bear with me, as this comment is really an essay.
Throughout all of history, religion and politics were inseparable because there was no society that lived apart from its faith. It was unheard of, incomprehensible. Religion was embedded in everything; it shaped the entire worldview of its practitioners, including their moral values, laws, and ontologies (their perception of physical reality).
Science has now taken over the ontological worldview of modern people, with huge consequences. With the advent of empirical science in the 17th century, religion was put in the position of a rear-guard action. It was relegated to the side as a subject for social studies by anthropologists. Its loss of status threw the world into a massive upheaval. Eventually, morality too was secularized, becoming progressive Leftism.
The Enlightenment dream of a rational religion based on the power of reason alone never happened: human beings are, at their core, irrational beings. Thinking for yourself takes too much energy. Our species is fundamentally lazy. It's far easier to let an authority figure think for you.
Secularization has been in a running battle with faith for three centuries. Faith has asserted itself strongly from the late 19th century onward through fundamentalism, not only in Christian form, but also in Islam. These are reactionary forms of faith.
The latter expression of reactionary faith, political Islam, is religious exclusivist (it abides no other form of faith) and it mandates violence against non-believers or alleged heretics. Islam has always done this, but in its modern reactionary form, it has given us Islamic terrorism, the emergence of despotic states like Iran, and rabid anti-Zionism. These things have become a core part of both Arab and Muslim identities. The entire Israel conflict since 1948 can be attributed to Islamic jihad, not to "colonialism," or race or "apartheid." The latter are historically incorrect neo-Marxist revisionist interpretations of the conflict, meant to inspire hatred of Jews among Leftists, and they have succeeded in that.
So yes, Islam is a political movement, but also a religious one, an anachronism in a way because this is what religion looked like until the modern era. Islam refuses to be modernized, Westernized, and secularized. The 1970 revolution in Iran is a perfect expression of that. This is bad news for non-Muslims and also those born in Muslim-majority nations who want freedom from their oppressive nature.
In the West, the dominant religion has become Leftism. It has assumed all the same functions as traditional Judeo-Christianity, which it still seeks to usurp either through atheism or (more sneakily) through woke Christianity and Reform Judaism.
My remarks are based on the idea that man is unable to live apart from religion of one kind or another. We are "homo religiosus", inherently religious by nature. This is something our species evolved with, I believe, so it's impossible to elude. Lefitsm is the religion that has taken over for the most part, but it is a contest for power with traditional religions and conservative worldviews in the West.
Consumerism and faith in technology are also modern expressions of secular faith, if one subscribes to the functional definition of religion: a religion is not what one believes as much as a set of rituals and behaviors designed to effect social unity and provide ultimate meaning. Leftism fits that bill. And like other world religions, it is syncretic, able to combine with existing faiths into new formations, such as woke Christianity or, in the case of political Islam, anti-Zionism syncretically draws on both Nazi and Leftist race ideologies, the idea of blood purity.
As for Zionism, that's a relatively new teaching by false Christian writers. The political state of Israel is not the Israel of the Bible. And criticism of modern Israel's colonialism and genocide of its neighbors should not be seen as being hatred of Jews.
"Faith has asserted itself strongly from the late 19th century onward through fundamentalism, not only in Christian form, but also in Islam. These are reactionary forms of faith."
Real Christianity is fundamentalist. In the mid-19th Century it was a return to the original faith and beliefs of the early Church. Even the Protestant Reformation did not lead to total break from the counterfeit, tyrannical Christianity of the Roman Catholic Church. Most Protestant denominations still worship on Sunday, despite the Fourth Commandment saying: REMEMBER the Sabbath day to KEEP IT HOLY. The RC Church uses the success of that hoax to justify their claim it had authority to do it.
It's similar to the Covid 19 hoax. The state got billions of people to get the bio weapon jabs, because the state is their god, and brainwashed or mislead Christians accept Sunday worship because they follow traditions of men and the RC Church, rather than following the Bible.
And the author of this article still believes marriage should be protected by the government, rather than following Biblical advice not to be unequally yoked with an unbeliever. If I had followed that advice I would never have married my first wife, a pagan who exploited the divorce industry to steal my three kids.
Our biggest problem is that people don't know that the state is not God, because they don't know their Bibles. Nothing new under the sun.
re: Trump's "erratic" behavior. Hmmm...... so far, it's worked out pretty well, hasn't it? Maybe you're in the same boat I was: he's playing the game far over our heads, with information that we don't have.
If results are any indication, that may be true. Remember: just because he taught you everything you know does not mean he's taught you everything HE knows. I'll just sit over here and try to stay out of the way and see what happens. That's been the best strategy so far, and I think a good one for the future.
Wishful thinking for sure if it's a physical prison, but I've made more severe decisions about where he belongs. Trump, however, is not the problem; his enablers are the problem. Impeaching just Trump, even if it went through and was confirmed, would just scratch the surface of the problem. Putting all his enablers in a physical prison -- well, dream on. The reality is far worse than the problem that just one man creates, but solving that problem would require much more severe measures than just the impeachment of one man from office.
I like the comment that the momentous changes of the last half century are not the result of conspiracy theories; they are changes we allowed to happen.
I have often attributed them to secularization and the increasing power of states and large corporations colluding together against the public and using cultural Marxism to demoralize us (ideological subversion as described by Yuri Bezmenov) -- and while those things are true, it's even closer to the truth to say that these changes evolved chaotically and those in power are constantly scrambling to find ways to use it for more power -- but they are not in charge. No one is really. ESG, the adverse effects of mass migration, increased crime, breakdown of the family -- these are all symptoms of a deeper underlying problem, a spiritual vacuum.
Our civilization as it is now often seems like a headless giant careening about, smashing everything in its path. Medical tyranny during Covid (2020-22) revealed how media, governments, and Big Pharma can collude against the public for power and profit -- but it also revealed how rudderless society really is.
